Voilà un film qui me renvoie dans les années 1990. C'est les dernières années de l'âge d'or pour la stop-motion. Bientôt, vont se répandre dans le monde de l'image, la 3D et internet. cette année-là, il existe une boîte de production qui domine le marché... c'est Cosgrove Hall, in england, please. Dans ces années-là, avant Laïka, avant Aardman, ce sont eux qui dominent le marché. Les films Cosgrove Hall sont unanimement reconnus pour leurs qualités. Je reviendrai forcément dans d'autres postes Cosgrove Hall. C'est une vraie légende dans le monde du stop-motion. Ici, ils reprennent une vieille histoire russe.

J’écoutais la chanson passer à la radio. En la recherchant sur le internet, je suis tombé sur son clip. Il reprend les codes du cinéma muet. Un très beau petit film.

Deux mères enceintes ne supportent plus leur condition et souhaiteraient s’amuser un peu. Le traitement de ce film est hyperréaliste. Les dialogues comme les situations sont crus et brut. Un très très beau travail de la réalisatrice.

Mats et les Humains est une expérience… autour d’une marionnette d’animation qui se prend pour un alien. Le projet a démarré en 2013. La première partie avait pour but de raconter l’arrivée de l’extraterrestre Mat dans notre système solaire et sur la terre. Dans la deuxième partie avec Le vlog de Mat. C’est le regard d’un alien sur notre société humaine qui m'intéresse avec toujours en perspective que Mat n’est qu’une marionnette d’animation.

Mats and Humans is an experience ... around an animation puppet who thinks he's an alien. The project started in 2013. Je suis en vacances de réseaux sociaux....

Voilà sept jours que j’ai arrêté de consulter mon compte Facebook. Je mène une petite expérience sur moi-même actuellement. Pendant un an, jusqu’au 1er novembre 2018, je ne vais pas aller voir mon profil Facebook, pas plus que la page dont je m’occupe « Mat et les Humains » . Cela ne m’empêchera pas de partager depuis mon site (matetleshumains.com) sur ce réseau social des posts comme celui-ci. C’est quoi la différence me direz-vous ? Elle est fondamentale car je ne serai pas si vous aimer ou pas ce que je poste. Je ne serai pas si vous commentez ou si vous partagez. Finalement, je ne serai rien de vôtre opinion sur mon travail et mes réflexions et c’est exactement le but que je recherche. Vous pouvez ajouter à cela que pendant un an, je ne serai plus soumis à la machine à laver intellectuelle que représente le fil d’actualité de Facebook. Par leurs fonctionnement même, les réseaux sociaux avec leurs likes créent une règle du jeu perverse. Par ces formes de jugements instantanés, j’ai le sentiment que ces réseaux sociaux brident notre créativité. Parfois, un individu a besoin de ne pas savoir si le plus grand nombre ou des amis sont d’accord ou pas avec ce qu’il met en ligne. Il a juste besoin d'émettre une idée, de développer un concept ou de partager une vidéo sans le moins du monde recherché l’assentiment du plus grand nombre. Je suis tout à fait conscient du paradoxe dans lequel je me retrouve mais finalement, je crois que je recherche une certaine forme de solitude sur internet. Voilà un paradoxe que j’aime.

I am fully aware of the paradox in which I find myself but finally, I think I am looking for some form of loneliness on the internet. That's a paradox I like.
